Oh What A Circus, Oh What A Show!

Tonight we decided that we were going to go turn in our day's labors at the junk yard. My mom really wanted to go and see the parade of lights on 25th street. Well, we get all parked and dressed up, walked up a couple of blocks and realized....hmmm, there's no one else here. Then it dawns on my mom, "Oh gee, I think we're a week early!" We were all dying laughing! We decided to take a picture where that great epiphany took place. As you can see, it is a Coca-Cola horse. Jake is pouring the coke out and Mollie is drinking it.

After we all had a good laugh about Mom messing the time up, we walked down the other side of the street and decided to stop at a Greek restaurant. It was soooo yummy!!! And we had a lot of fun! I saw the sign on a building. It was the Ko Ka Mo Bar :)

After we ate we had to stop by Wal-Mart. Well, my mom the video How To Train Your Dragon. We were all excited and begged my mom to get it. Well, we went to watch it and, as it turned out, we accidentally bought the freaking Christmas version. So, obviously, we are really having a circus day. It was so crazy! I love my family :)

Grizzlies Game

Ok, so on the 18th we went to the Utah Grizzlies hockey game. They were playing a team from Las Vegas. Yeah...the Grizzlies got their butts kicked 4-0. It was super fun and we loved it when the teams got into some fights!!

Sherie Wright, My Hero

Ok, for those of you who don't live in Morgan, or that do live there and are just deprived, Sherie Wright is one of the neatest ladies to ever walk the earth! She is actually my dear friend Tim's mom. Sherie was diagnosd with cancer last week. Click here to see her blog. Even if you don't know her, please keep her and her family in your prayers.
I always told Sherie she was my hero. I always meant it. But now, it takes on a whole new meaning. I LOVE YOU SHERIE!!! YOU ARE STILL MY HERO! :)

So, we were all part of a wonderous moment yesterday....it was 11/11/11! That only happens every 100 years people!!! You will not live to ever see it again!! I snuck out of Spanish class a wee bit early so I could document this sacred moment. This is me (the clock says 11:11am) being excited about the time and in the process of making the most epic wish of my lifetime!

 

November 11, is also Veteran's Day. I am so grateful for all of the amazing people who have served, and still serve to this day. Some have paid the ultimate sacrifice. I am so grateful for all of you wonderful people and the families that raise these fine men and women. 

In school, a few people (I suspect they were veterans) were playing instruments in the Union building. It was absolutely beautiful!

November 11, is also my late Uncle Bart's birthday. I remember going to my grandparent's house and he was always there. He always called me "baby" every time I saw him. Then he would wrap me up in a big hug. Before he died, when I saw him in the hospital, it was the night before the playoffs in soccer. I was giving him a hug goodbye and he managed to say, "Good luck baby." I love my uncle Bart and miss him a lot. I know he is in a better place and I can't wait to see him again!

Trevin and Tesslie

So last night I got to babysit my two baby cousins Trevin and Tesslie. I was SOOO excited because they are the two most adorable kids! Trevin is such a ball of energy. He ran around the house all night, ran over everything with his toy firetruck, and watched "Littlefoot" on the television. Tesslie loved to be thrown up in the air. Every time I sat on the ground she would run up to me and give me a HUGE hug! Then she would lay her little head on my shoulder and I melted. I love the so much and can't wait to do it again!! :)

Soccer is for kids, football is for woosies, RUGBY IS FOR WOMEN!

So, I've been playing Rugby for Weber State's women's club team and it has been a BLAST! I have loved every second of hitting the crap out of people and all of the lovely bruises I get (and they are plentiful). We've won a few and lost a few. We've had quite a few nasty injuries (I love and miss you Taylor and Nicole) and some less serious ones. All-in-all, I guess you could say we've been having the time of our lives! I've made a ton of new friends and I can cross "playing rugby" off my bucket list! I'm so excited for spring when we start up again. I love you ladies!! :)

Freestone Family Fun

I'm so excited that we all got to go and take a big picture of my entire Freestone family (well, all but 3 I guess)! We all went to my grandparents' farm, 4-mile and took our family pictures. We all laughed and joked around. We took some serious ones, and some, well, interesting ones. *cough* TJ mooned us *cough* :) I was actually really surprised that we got as many good ones as we did, what with 6 kids under the age of six. I had a lot of fun editing them all. Here are some of my more favorite ones:

 

 

 

BYU Football!! RISE UP!

So, on Saturday the 8th me, Jake, Smallz, and Mom went to the BYU football game in Provo. It was the first college football game that Jake and Mollie had ever been to and they are both die-hard BYU fans (ok, I secretly am too), and Mollie will not settle for anything less in life than to play soccer at BYU in college. I'm thinking Jake wants the same, but who knows :)

Thankfully, our Cougars pulled out the victory over San Jose State 29-16. It was a pretty decent game actually. I'm really glad that we went! Thanks MOM!!! <3 ya!

Women's Conference 2011

EM GEE!! I LOVED Women's Conference this last Saturday (24). It was so inspiring and, let's be honest, it actually held my attention this time...and that was on a full stomach too! With all of the messages conveyed to us I have to say the President Uchtdorf's was definitely my favorite! As a Latter-Day Saint there are so many things that we are commanded to do. This talk was amazing because they are things that one doesn't normally think about in their hectic day-to-day lives. Thank you President Uchtdorf for your wonderful talk! It was something I definitely needed to hear! I can't wait for more messages next week in General Conference!

Guilty Pleasure

I have recently discovered my new guilty pleasure. I always thought that I wasn't really into all of the material stuff and all that jazz. However, looking back at all of my purchases this year, I've been quite the spender with one particular item: shoes. How freaking cliche is that?! Unfortunately, it's true. There are quite a few pairs of shoes that I have bought this year. They aren't necessarily the traditional shoes. I'm not into high heels and those kinds of shoes that look nice but are secretly out to destroy your feet. No, I'm more into the sportsy shoes. This year alone I have bought Nike flip-flops, Reebok Realflex running shoes, Toms, Hawaiin sandals, Chacos, and Vibram Toe Shoes. Seriously, it's like I'm on a freaking shoe binge...if any of you have any cures for my shoe-mania, I will appreciate any comments.
