HaPpY bIrThDaY mO!

So Sunday the 27th was my birthday! O mi goodness it was so much fun! On Saturday night My awesome brother Jake took me to see Beastly. I was a little out there, but I really enjoyed it! Cute little love story!

On Sunday morning I went to two farewells! Jake Ure did such a great job on his talk and he is going to do great things! Love ya Jake! And Keegan, you are such a great example to your friends and family and the people are Chile are lucky to have you!
Let's see...memory with Jake...
I don't have one memory that really sticks out with Jake. All throughout school he has just been an all-around nice guy. Playing soccer, ultimate Frisbee, and even basketball (where I was frequently stuffed by his tallness) he was the greatest sport. And he has always been a rock in the gospel. He'll be so EPIC!
And Keegan,
I remember when we were just little kids and I would go over to his house all of the time. Our favorite game was dressing up like Indians. Oh the fun adventures we would have! We'd run all over the house and climb on the old elementary playground. I miss those good adventures. Good luck old friend!

And, for my favorite, before I went to church that morning Mollie came in, blindfolded me, led upstairs to my parents' bedroom, and this was there

Awesome, right? I have the bestest family ever!!

That night my Grandma and Grandpa Freestone and my Grandma Smith came over for dinner! Yummy! I LOVE them all! All in all, great birthday with my family!

Sneaky, Sneaky Softball Stuff

Well, Spring Break was last week and let me tell you...PARTAY! So I didn't go to school at all that week and then on Wednesday Mel and I packed up and headed to St. George. It took us 3.5 hours to get there...and I never broke 100. =) We had a pretty hard time finding the place and it really frustrated both of us. Mel may or may not have blessed the idiot people who named the streets. We got there and just partied it up all night! Good times! We had a very extensive conversation about kissing...for those of you who know me you know this was a one-sided conversation...=)
On Thursday I was up at 8:30 and figured out how to work the television so I turned on some MARCH MADNESS!! My compadre didn't wake up until noon so I just chilled for a while. Around 1:00 I went running. It was cloudy outside so the temperature was perfect! I went about 4 miles and it really was uphill both ways. I stopped at a cemetery at the halfway point. There is a really cool monument to all of the armed services. I just stopped and said a little prayer for the troops. It was really cool. I'm not gonna lie, the cemetery is a pretty chill and peaceful place. I liked it. When I got home we really just chilled on the couch and watched some March Madness the rest of the night. Ooh! And BYU beat Wofford! Yay! I LOVE JIMMER!! That night we checked into our motel. Well, my mom did cuz it was a 21 and older hotel =)

Friday was more March Madness in the morning until 3:00ish when we had lunch with my family and then to the softball fields to help keep score for the girls softball team! That was soo much fun! I had a blast in the dugout with those guys. So many good times haha! Me and Mel decided that we would so much rather be playing, but it was great to just be around the girls. The last game didn't end until 10:00ish. Good times!

Saturday was pretty cool! I went to watch my little bro play some soccer against Dixie and he got to play varsity! Yeah...they lost like 8-0. We also went over to the softball game, but they got clobbered too so I went back to the JV game. Ok so, we were supposed to go to the Lady Gaga concert...but we decided to stay in St. George. Yeah...I've already been given a buttload of crap for it so just chill. It was worth it. =) We stayed and did the books and stuff for the girls softball team. I LOVE them! Before the last game I got to play 500 with the team. I had a wicked sweet diving catch. Yay! I was also throwing with all of my might...yeah I'm FREAKIN' SORE! So after the game Mel and I went to the Pizza Factory with the softball team. Hooray for tradition ya'll! That night we partied it up watching the BYU vs. Gonzaga. All of the experts expected Gonzaga to win, well BYU blew them out of the water! YAY! At 11:00 that night Mel and I took Brook Pierce back to "the house" and we decided to party it up! Um...yeah...no adults knew we were there. We ended up staying the night. I was up until 3:00 in the morning and woke up at 7:00. Well, I have a conscience so I had to go reveal my presence in the house...didn't go over all that great but we got it all smoothed out. =)

The drive home was like 3.3 hours. I hit 100 at least 4 times...so yeah. that was my awesome spring break. Peace ya'll!! =)

Dougie and Kamers!!

Dougie and Kamers

WOW! So Friday night I went to my dear friends Kami Poll and Doug Houck's wedding reception. They were married for time and all eternity in the temple on Saturday, March 12, 2011. They are so adorable together! I played softball with Kami for 2 years in high school and had some of the greatest times with her! I freaking love her guts!! I remember when I first met Doug too! I was at UVU orientation with my mom and Kami and we saw Doug and Kami introduced us. Turns out we were living in the same apartment complex! I got to really meet Doug through some church activities. One night at ward prayer Doug came up to me and told me he was going to go ask Kami's parents to marry her! I went ballistic and called Micquellyn to tell her and holy cow! I was over the moon! Congrats to Dougie and Kamers!! =)

The Softball Team in St. George

So memories with Kami...well, we played softball and Kami was the pitcher, right? Well, I was batting one day at practice and it was pretty cold outside. Kilmer told Kami to let Whitney pitch and she was all, "let me finish this one (referring to me as the batter)." Well, she threw it really inside and I turned and jumped to avoid getting hit...that ball nailed me and left the most AWESOME bruise EVER!! Haha! I love you Kami and wish you the best girl! =)

I LOVE To See The Temples!

So last week was pretty much the BOM!! Literally...I finished the Book of Mormon for like my 4th or 5th time...you start to lose track after a while. Anywho, The best part about last week was that I go to go to the temple 3 times! I went to Mount Timpanogos, Ogden, and Bountiful with my dear friend Sydnie Hunter and I had a blast!

On Tuesday, March 1, I decided that I hate English and didn't wan to write my paper so I called up Syd and we went to Mt. Timp. It was quite amazing!

On Saturday, March 5, at 6:00 in the morning Syd and I got up and went to the Ogden temple. It will be closing on April 1, 2011 for 2 years so this may be the last time I'm there for quite a while!

On the evening of Saturday, March 5, was my dear friend Kayli Heywood's wedding. After a beautiful reception and a fun reunion with many good friends, Syd and I took off. We both realized that we were wearing skirts and still had our recommends so we made a 2 minute drive to the Bountiful temple. We got to do some family names with a large group so it was awesome!

I Love Weddings! Drinks All Around! (Fruit Punch Duh)

OMGOSH!!! So Friday my dear friend Kayli Deborah Heywood married the love of her life, Stephen Rolfe Nielson at the Bountiful, Utah temple! I went to the reception and it was soooo Kayli! Seriously...it was decorated perfectly! She looked SO AMAZING in her dress and was glowing! Here is a picture of her dancing with her new hubby:

TENDER!!

Oh man! Good times with Kayli...one thing I'll never forget is one time I was helping Kayli clean out her room (an impossible feat because I was there for 3 hours and we barely put a dent in it) and I was vacuuming under her bed...there were, seriously, like 300 dead bugs under there...NASTY!! But I also remember just hanging out and having some of the most magnificent boy talks and all that other good stuff! Love you Kayli and wish you the best in your married life and wish you your 8 kids and no white walls ;) MWAH!

The night before she left to college =)
